Rahul Joglekar

Trainer

Rahul is an ex-BBC journalist and has been a presenter, producer and TV reporter. He set up Melantra Media and Training in 2019 and has worked with companies, including the BBC, Anglo American and Citibank in senior communications roles. As a trainer, he works with senior leaders to help them deliver impactful messages and PR teams to help them master impactful communications and writing. He has also taught at British universities and produces a podcast about good communication with Matt.

Paula Fisher

Trainer

Paula is a strategic communications leader with over 20 years’ agency experience helping organisations turn their story into business impact. Based in Singapore and Hong Kong for 15 years, she led high-profile campaigns, worked with talent such as David Beckham, advised senior leaders, and drove agency growth. Her work spans executive profiling, reputation management, and press offices under scrutiny for global brands including Coca-Cola, Disney, American Express, Marriott, Deliveroo—and UFC.

Simeon Paterson

Trainer

An experienced producer, editor and journalist, Simeon has helped cover natural disasters, global sporting events, conflict and culture, in Europe, Africa and Asia, for news organisations from the UK, US and Japan. He currently works for American Broadcast NBC News and will take the students through the rigours of telling stories, honing their skills and the tricks of broadcast/TV news including how to tell engaging stories. He will bring his truly global experience to the table during this workshop.

Piers Scholfield

Piers is a senior communications strategist and former BBC and Sky News journalist with two decades’ experience shaping narratives for global organisations and advising executive leaders on media engagement, reputation and storytelling. He has led high-impact campaigns on sustainability and the energy transition, trained C-suite leaders, and brings a sharp editorial instinct to everything from message development to crisis response. Drawing on his international newsroom background, Piers helps communicators and aspiring professionals understand how to craft clear, compelling stories that cut through.

Jennifer is a PR powerhouse with 10+ years of turning bold ideas into headlines. She got her start at one of the UK’s top talent agencies, repping celebs and landing front-page stories, before going in-house at a major jewellery brand (killer products, nightmare culture). Now, she works with MODA PR clients show up, stand out, and actually get people talking. Her work has been featured in The Guardian, The Independent, Daily Mail, BBC, The Mirror, HuffPost UK, and more. Jen was also recognised as a Downtown in Business “Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2025” nominee
